      James Eugene Dougherty

      James Eugene Dougherty, 80, of Woodville, passed away December 12, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Born November 18, 1924 in Keating Township, PA to James E. and Josephine Gray Dougherty, he lived in Vidor and Nederland before moving to Woodville eight years ago. He was a retired Instrument Technician for Big 3 Industry, Inc.

      Mr. Dougherty is survived by his wife, Zelma Myrtis Dougherty of Woodville; two step-daughters, Annie Louise Faircloth and husband, Eddie of Woodville, and Rita Mae Siders of Utah; step-son, Timothy C. Williams of Beaumont; sisters, Betty Ehbauer of Port Charlotte, FL and Jacqueline Johnson of Houston; seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one deceased grandchild.

      Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at 2 P.M. at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery near Woodville.
