- John Outhouse, son of Miles, went by the name of John McCune for a time as Catherene had left Miles (or vice versa) before John was born. When he was a grown man he got in touch with his Aunt Martha and changed his name back to Outhouse. Per LDS data, Catharine Outhouse married on 22 Oct 1863 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Henry S. McCune. There is no record of a marriage for John.
