She never married. She lived with her brother Orrin or Horace at different times. She was apparently a very disagreeable woman. At her death there was a disagreement over monies to be paid for her upkeep. Her grave was partially dug up by wild animals and was never releveled until Julia O. Holmes had it done around 1940.
