      Mrs. Caroline Adams Pusey, 78, formerly of Canandaigua, died Sunday at her home, 755 Bonhill Rd, Los Angeles, 49, Calif. after a two month illness.
      Born in Watkins Glen, Feb 4, 1887, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Abby Jane Lathbury Adams who moved to Canandaigua when she was six months old. She attended local schools and was married in 1916 to the late Rev. Charles W. Pusey. For 20 years Mrs. Pusey was affiliated with the former DeGraff apparel shop here. She was a member of the local Methodist church. For 14 years she had resided with her daughter, Mrs. Glenn (Bette) Lord.
      Besides the daughter, she is survived by a son, John A. Pusey, Rochester; four grandchildren and a niece, Mrs. Dorothy Armitage Nicoll of Albany.
      A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church Chapel followed by a committal service in Woodlawn Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Pusey may be made to the Cancer Fund or the Memorial Book Fund of Wood Library.
      Whoever wrote this obituary confused her mother's name with her grandmother's name -- Abby Jane vs Jennie.
