    • Obituary for Ival OUTHOUSE:

      Alton, Iowa-Ival L. OUTHOUSE, 64, of Alton, Floyd Valley High school teacher, died Thursday in a hospital at Orange City after suffering an apparent heart attack.

      Services were at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Floyd Valley High School Auditorium at Alton, The Reverend Clarence GREVING, of the Alton Reformed Church, officiated. Further services were at 1 p.m. Monday at the United Church of Christ in Moorhead. The Rev. Dwight M. WALKER officiated. Burial was in the Moorhead Cemetery under the direction of Van Etten-Oloman Funeral Home of Orange City.

      Mr. OUTHOUSE was born October 14, 1915 in Moorhead. He married Elaine ULVEN August 16, 1937 in Woodbine. He was a coach at Bronson, Castana, Sioux Rapids, Moorhead, Carroll, Whiting and West Harrison-Mondamin and for the last 11 years was golf coach and social studies teacher at Floyd Valley High School at Alton.

      Mr. OUTHOUSE was a member of the United Church of Christ of Moorhead, Masonic Lodge and American Legion. He served in the Navy during World War II. Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Linda JOHNSON, a son Vincent, two granddaughters, and his mother, Mrs.Wayne (Mae) OUTHOUSE and one sister, Mrs. Boyd (Letha) MILLER.
