TO WED--At an informal dinner for the immediate relatives and a few intimate friends Saturday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Roy J. Outhouse, Avalon, announced the engagement of their daughter, Judy Mary, Madison, to Richard Vesey, also of Madison, son of Mrs. Alma L. Vesey, Plymouth.
Miss Outhouse attended Wisconsin State College at Whitewater and the University of Wisconsin. She formerly taught in Marathon and Walworth County High schools and now is employed at Oscar Mayer and Co., Madison.
Mr. Vesey, a member of the editorial staff of the Wisconsin State Journal, Madison, attended Mission House college, Plymouth and the University of Wisconsin.
He is a veteran of World War II and served with the eighth Photo Reconnaissance Group in the European Theater.

Vesey-Oberg Wedding Held
DELAVAN--Mrs. Julia M. Vesey, Madison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy J. Outhouse, Delavan, and Charles F. Oberg, Madison, son of Mr. and Mrs Isaac Oberg, Lantana, Fla., were married Nov. 23 in the chapel of First Methodist church, Madison.
Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wandel, Madison.
The wedding dinner was served at the Top of the Park, Madison.
The bride, a University of Wisconsin gradate is employed in the accounting department of Oscar Mayer co., Madison. Oberg, a graduate of New Hampshire University did graduate work at the University of Wisconsin. He is a chemist at Oscar Mayer Co.

OBERG, Julia M
MADISON--Julia M. Oberg died on Friday, April 1, 1988 at a local hospital. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa the daughter of Clara (Brostuen) and Roy J. Outhouse, who were originally from Madison, and returned there. She was the granddaughter of Perry and Mary Outhouse early Dane County settlers. She was graduated from East High School in 1938 and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in Teacher Education. She was a former teacher in many Wisconsin communities; and an employee of the General Accounting Department of Oscar Mayer and Co.; and retired from the Department of Health and Social Services, Center for Health Statistics. Julia was a past matron Monona Chapter #5 Order of the Eastern Star in 1982-1983; a past royal matron of the Madisonn court of the 7th Order of Amaranth. In 1983-1984, a past chairman of Zor hospital Auxiliary in 1976; a past appointive officer in Madison Shrine #6, White Shrine of Jersalem, for 25 years; a member and secretary-treasurer of the Rainbow Advisory Board of Madison Assembly #5. She was also a recipient of the Cross of Color conferred by the International order for Rainbow for Girls. Currently she was a grand representative to New York State from Wisconsin for the Grand Court of Wisconsin Order of Amarnath. She also was a member of Antioch Temple #113, Daughters of the Nile. She was a member of the Madison Chapter of AAUW; a past president of Laureate Iota Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, an international philanthropic sorority. She was a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Madison Elks #410. She is survived by her husband, Charles F. Oberg; a sister, Rosalind Outhouse of Madison; three nieces, Mrs. Roger (Lynn) Wolper of Colorado springs, Colorado, Mrs. Allan (Sue) Herring, and Mrs. Gary (Sally) Blue, both of Milton, Wisconsin; and a nephew, Steven Bruce Outhouse of Clinton, Wisconsin; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Robert (Alice) Blue of Edgerton, Wisconsin; and many relatives and friends in the Madison area. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 1988 at 11 a.m. at MIDVALE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4327 Tokay Blvd. The Reverend Stanley Klyve will officiate. There will be no visitation. Burial will be at the Forest Hills Cemetery. The CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Rd., is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Madison Masonic Temple Building Fund, 301 Wisconsin Ave., Madison, WI 53703.

Avalon Girl is Bride of Madison Newspaperman
July Mary Outhouse, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy j. Outhouse, Avalon, became the bride of Richard W. Vesey, Madison, in Bethel Lutheran Church, Madison Sept 18 the Rev. F.L. Schmidt read the service and the rev. David Johnson read the prayers.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an imported chantilly lace and nylon tulle dress styled with chapel train. A ?? held her veil and she carried a cascade of orange blossoms and roses.
Miss Myrtle Onsrud, maid of honor, wore a green nylon tulle dress with a six-tiered skirt, topped by alencon lace bodice. She carried chrysanthemums.
Similar ensembles in toast, champagne and gold were worn by the bridesmaids, the Misses Sedora Brostuen, Dorothy Lacy and Elsa Stolnhofer. Flower girl Lynn Louise Outhouse appeared in a seashell coral frock. Dennis Zweifel carried the rings.
David Vesey was best man for his brother. Users were Robert C. Bjorkland, Glenn E. Miller and John R. Prindell, all members of the Wisconsin State Journal editorial staff.
A reception was held at Kennedy Manor before the couple left for a honeymoon in Florida. Both Mr. and Mrs. Vesey are University of Wisconsin graduates. The bride formerly taught in high school in Marathon and Walworth counties. Mr. Vesey is a member of the editorial staff of the State Journal.
