Betty was born in Gorham on October 11, 1917, the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Mensch) Johnson. She graduated from Canandaigua Academy, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Canandaigua. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Harlan) Olsen of Geneva, and Frances (David) Hovey of Rochester; her son-in-law, Gregory Perry of Fairport; her step-daughter, Brenda (Richard) Brazell of Arvada, CO; step-sons, Maurice Mathews of West Fairview, PA, Gary (Beverly) Mathews of Bath, and Frank Mathews of Scio; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; her sister, Marion (Farr) Milne of Hobe Sound, FL; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Herman Fleischman, second husband, Clifford Outhouse; daughter, Jean Perry; and son, Ford Fleischman. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Highland Cemetery in Avoca. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Betty's memory may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Canandaigua; the Canandaigua Emergency Squad; or to the Avoca Methodist Church Sunday School program.
