Mrs. Franc Gourlay, 88, widow of Mark C. Gourlay, Farmington, died this morning May 19, 1954, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. Leslie Gifford, Canandaigua RD 4, with whom she had made her home since March.
Born in the town of Canandaigua, May 8, 1866, she was the daughter of the late Orrin and Amanda Outhouse. She was married 63 years ago, June 10, to Mr. Gourlay, and resided all of her married life in Farmington. He died November 28, 1945.
Survivors are three daughters and a son, Mrs. Orrene Gifford, and Mrs. Dale C. Bessie Lester, Canandaigua, Mrs. Elbert W. Ethel Garlock, and Howard Gourlay, Victor, also six grandchildren.

A retired farmer he had lived in Canandaigua until 10 years ago. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Florence Johnson, Canandaigua, Mrs. Stanley Bush, Niagara Falls, and Mrs. Hall, and one brother, Burton Outhouse, Canandaigua.
