Services for Fay Runyon Outhouse, 69, of Lusk were held March 26, 1988 at Peet Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Frank Bozart officiated. Burial with Military Honors followed in the Lusk Cemetery.
Outhouse died March 23, 1988 at the Niobrara Memorial Hospital in Lusk. He was born December 10, 1918 at Flattop. Wy., the son of Grant and Maude Outhouse. He attended elementary schools in Flattop and Manville before graduating from Glendo High School in 1939.
He married Edna Mae Leeling on September 6, 1941 in Chadron, NE.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and later worked on ranches and for Petrolane Gas Company for many years before becoming disabled in 1969. He enjoyed gardening, beekeeping and many activities at the Senior Center.
Preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Janet Fay and one brother, Delbert, he is survived by his wife, Edna of Lusk, one daughter, Delberta McInvale of Modesto, CA.; one son, Tony Outhouse of Littleton, CO.; one sister, Mary Hytrek of Lusk; two grandsons, several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Memorials to the Niobrara Senior Citizens Center or to the Niobrara County Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
