Adolph E Casse, 83 of 11 East Main St., Bainbridge and formerly of Hamptonburgh, died Tuesday at Sidney Hospital, Sidney, after a long illness.
The son of Francois and Fredericka Dehn Casse, he was born Feb. 5, 1893 in New York City. He was married to the former Ermine Blakely and lived in Hamptonburgh for 22 years.
He was a retired dairy farmer.
He is survived by his widow, two sons William of Warwick and Richard of Millbrook, 21 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Greene-Ferguson Funeral Home 20 North st. Washingtonville, the Rev. William Ellsworth will officiate.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday 7 to 9 p.m.
Burial will be the Hamptonburgh Cemetery, Hamptonburgh.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
