- Thomas came to [ ] about 1648, with son John and daughter Dorothy January 7, 1649, he says in his journal: " I entered Mr. Phillips service" (William Phillips was a vintner and inn-holder at Charlestown.) On October 30, he wrote: "We came aboard the shipp charles at Nantukett, that day I parted wth my deare family in boston, the 25th day.
