      SERVICES AT MADISON
Funeral of the late Horace W. Outhouse is Held This Afternoon--He Formerly Lived Here
E.W. Ihrig is in Madison today, attending the funeral of the late Horace W. Outhouse, formerly of this city, who passed away in that city after a long illness. Deceased was fifty years of age. His death was the direct result of paralysis with which he was afflicted a month ago and from which he never rallied sufficiently to give much hope for recovery.
Mr. Outhouse had suffered a previous attack a year and a half ago, but had apparently almost recovered when the second stroke came upon him. He was conscious to the last, but on account of the paralysis affecting his throat was unable during the last few hours to converse with members of the family, all of whom were at his bedside when the end came. Besides a wife, Mr. Outhouse leaves a father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. W.H. outhouse, 515 Madison street, Madison, a brother, P.A. Outhouse, who resides on a farm near Madison and a sister, Mrs. Charles Post of Madison.
Deceased lived in Oshkosh for ten years and was a salesman for the Edwards-Ohrig company dealing in furniture and undertaking supplies. He was a member of the Elks and the Modern Woodmen of America. There are many firends in this city, where Mr. Outhouse was highly regarded. The funeral services were at two o'clock this afternoon at the residence in Madison.
