Charles Post
Charles Post, 84, retired carpenter, died today at his home, 1724 Madison st. He was a lifelong resident of Madison and one of the oldest members of the Odd Fellow Lodge.
Mr. Post is survived by one daughter, Julia H. Post, a school teacher at Rockhill, S.C. who will arrive in Madison Thursday. he was a brother-in-law of Perry outhouse, Route 4.
Mr. Post was born in a log cabin which stood on the Gilbert farm, west of the city.
