Ruth Agar - Died at LHS Victoria Campus on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003, Ruth (Caldwell) Agar of RR#4, Iona Station in her 65th year. Beloved wife of John Agar. Loving Mother of Linda and Tyler Merkley of Mississauga, Tim and Diane Agar of RR#4, Iona Station, Rob & Tania Agar of Calgary, Alberta. Loved Grandmother of Owen, Payton, Stephan, Ryan, Brodie and Braeson. Predeceased by her parents, James Emery Caldwell (1952) Carrie (Howe) Caldwell (1988) and sisters Doreen Herr (2003) and Norma Byrnes (2003). Ruth was secretary for the Elgin County Board of Education for over 20 years in St. Thomas, West Lorne and Duton. Cremation has taken place. Internment of ashes in Elmdale from Cowal-McBride.
