  • Notes 
    • Like his father, George worked on machinery and motors and became a stationary engineer but he followed the lumber camps in Ontario and Michigan. When the lumber industry began to die out, he worked in Wiarton, Ontario in a mill, then ca. 1920 moved to St. Thomas, Ontario with his family. He was employed by the St. Thomas Gas Works until he became too ill to work ca. 1931.
