Noah Bishop made his will in Morrisiana, April 22, 1788, which was proven April 20, 1788 (?) as published in the New York Genealogical Record, Vol. 55, pg 145, which does not agree with his gravestone. He mentions: John Bowne, son of his sister Sarah; wife Sarah, to enjoy his estate for life, then it to be sold and proceeds paid to Nathaniel, son of Isaac Horton of Morrisiania; residue to be divided between "my three sisters," Sarah Bowne, Amey Huested and Abigail Sherwood. Letters granted to Isaac Horton and Lancaster Underhill.
