  [S143] Rootsweb Message Board, Jerry Jasper, 17 May 2003 (Reliability: 3). I have a Emma Dorcus Tower, born New Brunswick in 1850. She married a Charles H Allen. She and Charles adopted an Emma M Atkinson in the late 1890s. Emma M was the natural daughter of Frederic and Nettie F (Outhouse) Atkinson, married in Westmorland NB in 1887. Emma M was adopted by Charles H and Emma Dorcus (Tower) Allen. Nettie had a younger sister Agnes born 1881 who married Albion Niles. Agnes and Albion adopted an Evelyn, the natural daughter of Emma M (Atkinson/Allen) Hollingshead. [S146] Snowden Family Web site.
