      Mrs. Franc Gourlay, 88, widow of Mark C. Gourlay, Farmington, died this morning May 19, 1954, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. Leslie Gifford, Canandaigua RD 4, with whom she had made her home since March.
      Born in the town of Canandaigua, May 8, 1866, she was the daughter of the late Orrin and Amanda Outhouse. She was married 63 years ago, June 10, to Mr. Gourlay, and resided all of her married life in Farmington. He died November 28, 1945.
      Survivors are three daughters and a son, Mrs. Orrene Gifford, and Mrs. Dale C. Bessie Lester, Canandaigua, Mrs. Elbert W. Ethel Garlock, and Howard Gourlay, Victor, also six grandchildren.
      Interment in Boughton Hill Cemetery, Victor.

      MARRIED FORTY YEARS YESTERDAY
      Mr. and Mrs. Mark C. Gourlay celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary yesterday at their farm home in Victor. The following members of their family and guests were entertained at dinner: Mr. and Mrs Dale C. Lester, Mr. and Mrs. R. Leslie Gifford, Mrs. Hattie Gifford, Charles P. Ahrens, Charles Rohlin, Robert Ahrens, and Miss Mollie Breen, all of Canandaigua; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Gourlay and Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Garlock of Victor.
      Mark C. Gourlay and Miss Frances Outhouse were married in the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orin Outhouse, on the Rochester road, Canandaigua, June 10, 1891. They have three daughters and a son, Mrs. Lester, Mrs. Leslie Gifford, Mrs. Elbert Garlock and Howard Gourlay, also one grandchild. They have lived on the farm their entire married life.

      Mrs. Franc Gourlay, 88, widow of Mark C. Gourlay, Farmington, died this morning (May 19, 1954) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. Leslie Gifford, Canandaigua, RD, with whom she had made her home since March.
      Born in the town of Canandaigua, May 9, 1866, she was the daughter of the late Orrin and Amanda Outhouse. She was married 64 years ago and resided all of her married life in Farmington. He died Nov. 28, 1945.
      Survivors are three daughters and a son, Mrs. (Orene) Gifford and Mrs. Dale (Bessie) Lester, Canandaigua; Mrs. Elbert W. (Ethel) Garlock and Howard Gourlay, Victor; also six grandchildren.
      Friends may call at the Cotton Funeral Home, Victor, where funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Boughton Hill Cemetery, Victor.
