  Westervelt Gen, pg 14: He took the oath of allegiance in 1687, stating that he had been in this country for 25 years. Doc. Hist. N.Y., Vol. I, 661. Also on the assessment rolls of Flatlands, Jamaica, etc.; on census roll of Flatbush in 1698.
